The Second Mortgage Specialist is responsible for offering guidance and understanding of a wide variety of products to best fit the needs of the borrower(s). They manage and process 2nd Mortgage Loans and lines including completing the application, gathering of all supporting documentation, preparation of initial disclosures, keeping the borrower updated on status of the loan throughout the process and discussing final closing figures prior to closing; ensuring members have an outstanding loan experience.

• Master 2nd Mortgage Process
  • Manage loans from origination through closing
  • Collect and verify necessary documents within 24 business hours of application, while updating application information accurately
  • Coordinate closing process and disbursement of loan funds
  • Collaborate closely with the Consumer Lending Team to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Provide excellent member service
  • Communicate effectively with members, ensuring a seamless loan experience
  • Meet with borrowers in person, via phone or email with regard to specific 2nd mortgage inquiries
  • Offer professional opinion and guidance on the mortgage product that would best fit the need of the borrower
