We are seeking a highly creative and results-oriented Marketing & Communication Specialist to strengthen fundraising initiatives, expand brand visibility, and elevate community engagement through strategic marketing and modern communications.
The Marketing & Communication Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing and communications strategies that support fundraising, donor engagement, community outreach, and organizational growth.
This role blends digital marketing, nonprofit communications, content creation, social media management, graphic design, video production, email marketing, branding, and campaign management into one high-impact position.
Ideal candidates are experienced marketing professionals who thrive in a mission-driven environment and are passionate about using creative communication to drive measurable results.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Fundraising Campaigns
- Lead and execute fundraising and marketing campaigns using email marketing, social media marketing, digital advertising, content marketing, video marketing, print, and direct mail.
- Collaborate with the Director of Development on donor appeals, campaigns, and stewardship communications.
Content, Digital & Social Media
- Create and manage content strategies across digital channels.
- Design marketing materials, including flyers, digital graphics, presentations, and branded assets.
- Manage organizational social media accounts (content creation, posting, engagement, performance tracking).
- Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content for social platforms, websites, and email campaigns.
- Write and distribute newsletters, marketing emails, donor communications, and press content.
Communications & Brand Management
- Maintain a comprehensive marketing and communications calendar.
- Support community engagement initiatives, fundraising events, and public relations efforts.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
- Track and analyze performance using marketing analytics, social media metrics, email performance, website traffic, and campaign ROI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years professional experience in marketing, communications, nonprofit marketing, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Digital Marketing
- Social Media Management
- Email Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Content Creation
- Video Production & Editing
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy skills.
- Experience with marketing platforms for social scheduling, email campaigns, design, video editing, and analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate: $50,000 to $60,000/year
