Business Analyst I
The Business Analyst I role, is to collaborate with business users to plan, design, and launch efficient business and operational systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes the gathering and analysis of information and/or data in support of business cases as well as proposing system requirements. The Business Analyst I is also responsible for supporting both new and existing business applications. This individual must apply proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
- Meet with decision makers, business owners and end users to define business requirements and identify and resolve systems issues based on business needs.
- Collaborate with business users and other development group resources in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business benefit/impact and cost.
- Responsible for identifying requirement and scope related issues and risk, with support from mentor.
- Act as the liaison between business/user group representatives and system development personnel during development efforts.
- Assist with testing as needed
- Display a professional attitude in dealing with supervisors, coworkers, members, and others inside and outside the credit union

- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus
Qualifications
Education
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent or better.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or better in Information Technology or related field.
