Greater Lafayette, IN — Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, community spirit, and purpose! The 5th Annual Joyful Journey Classic Celebrity Softball Game & Home Run Derby, presented by Elite Air and Elite Gymnastics, is stepping up to the plate on Sunday, August 23rd from 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM at Loeb Stadium.

Now celebrating its milestone 5th year, this one-of-a-kind event—the only celebrity softball game of its kind in Greater Lafayette—brings together hometown heroes, local personalities, and the community for a high-energy day of entertainment, all in support of Joyful Journey Adult Day Service.

Everyone is invited! Admission is “pay what you wish,” making this a truly inclusive, family-friendly event where every dollar supports local families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related conditions.

💥 Event Highlights

• Home Run Derby (12:30 PM):
  Think you’ve got what it takes? Adults 18+ can compete for a cash prize with a $25 entry fee.

• Celebrity Softball Game (3:00 – 5:00 PM):
  Watch your favorite local celebrities and community leaders face off in a lively, can’t-miss showdown. Opening ceremonies begin at 2:30 PM!

• Kids Corner + Run the Bases:
  Young fans will love the dedicated Kids Corner, packed with activities—and after the game, they’ll get the unforgettable chance to run the bases just like the pros!
