Description

The 2026 Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Planting Event will be held outside in the morning on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Community volunteers will plant approximately 60 trees along Commanche Trail in Lafayette. Trees have many benefits for the neighborhood, the community, and the environment. Join us for some fresh air, fun, exercise, and satisfaction that you are helping the community and the environment. Planting holes will be pre-dug. All tools and materials needed will be supplied. Each team will plant 2 or 3 trees. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Free event.

Check-in at the Registration Table when you arrive at the event on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Arrive between 8:30am and 9:00am and meet at the corner of Commanche Trail and Chaucer Drive. Parking is available along Commanche Trail.
