Job Description:
BrightStar Care of Lafayette, IN is looking for a full-time, high-energy, driven individual to join their team as a recruiter! This position is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the Home Care Office. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

Recruiting Responsibilities:
  • Actively recruit candidates by posting openings on social media, job boards, professional organizations and other venues
  • Contact available applicant base for new employee pipeline development -
  • Gather and review resumes and background information
  • Screen and interview applicants
  • Assist in orientation and onboarding of new staff
  • Prepare recruitment and personnel compliance reports for management
  • Promote company's reputation in the community by building networks
  • Grow and maintain our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment. This includes posting positions to appropriate Internet sources; research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment; use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Communicate with employees and field staff regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Be part of the on call rotation with your team
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Job Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience with a high school diploma
  • Experience with healthcare recruiting is a plus.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • One to two years of recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred but not required.
