Responsibilities

• Reviews all outstanding patient balances
• Monitor payment plans and liabilities
• Prepare all uncollectible accounts for approval by appropriate source to be turned over to a collection agency or attorney
• Answer billing inquiries from patients

• 2 years of billing office experience in a Healthcare Organization
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and billing office procedures
• Knowledge of CPT coding and Diagnosis coding
• Knowledge of government and regulatory provisions related to collection activities
• Strong PC skills, specifically Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to manage multiple projects

• Full Time
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
