Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic - UICC

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients by reviewing patient medical history and taking vitals
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Document patient information utilizing electronic medical records
• Assists in scheduling patient appointments
• Follow the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality
• Performs additional administrative duties and projects as needed

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and computer skills
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able and/or willing to perform IVs
• Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred
• License(s): EMS – Paramedic, LPN, CMA, MA, RMA
• Certification(s): BLS; ACLS, PALS preferred
• Allscripts PM/EMR knowledge is a plus!

• PRN, Part-Time, or Full-Time Opportunities available
• Must be flexible with hours
• Must be available to work 10 -hour shifts
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
