Unity seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!
Our ideal certified medical assistant will have a strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The certified medical assistant must be able to work in a team based environment to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care. Strong phlebotomy experience preferred. Majority of the role is patient centered with checking in patients for office visit appointments which includes vital signs, medical history evaluations, medication reviews and much more. 
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, required
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must be able to provide comfort for patient at all times
  • Knowledge of Allscripts, preferred
  • Previous medical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification(s): CMA
  • Strong venipuncture experience preferred
  • Must be team oriented & have the ability to positively contribute to exceptional customer service
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, must be able to multi-task
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
  • Part Time, 36.5 hours per week
