Come join us for the 6th Annual Purdue LGBTQ+ Film Festival, hosted by NOGLSTP at Purdue! This year's Film Festival will be held October 20-22, 2017 in Matthews 210. Our tentative film schedule includes: Friday, October 20th -Moonlight at 5 pm --Discussion led by To Be Announced --TW: Contains homophobic language and violence. -First Girl I Loved at 8 pm --Discussion led by CARE Staff --TW: Contains nudity, homophobic language, forced outing, and sexual assault. Saturday, October 21st -Paris is Burning at 12 pm --Discussion led by To Be Announced --TW: Contains nudity. This is an older movie and uses now outdated language for LGBTQ+-identifying people. -Joy! Portrait of a Nun at 3 pm --Discussion led by Indiana Crossroads Sisters, Abbey of the Shimmering Silo --TW: Contains nudity. -Hurricane Bianca at 8 pm --TW: Contains homophobic language and violence. Sunday, October 22nd -120 Beats Per Minute at 2 pm --Discussion led by Kelsey Chapman and Graham Hardie in collaboration with ACT UP Purdue --TW: To Be Announced Don't live on Purdue University's campus? Parking is available in University Street Parking Garage, located within short walking distance of Matthews Hall. Both the parking garage and Matthews 210 are wheelchair accessible. Limited street parking is also available. As always, we are thankful for our collaborators and sponsors, without whom the Film Festival would not be possible. Our collaborators this year include ACT UP Purdue, CARE, and the Indiana Crossroads Sisters, Abbey of the Shimmering Silo.
