How To Apply:
It's simple to apply. Complete an application through this portal by clicking 'Register' above. If you do not have a Greater Lafayette Commerce membership, you will click the 'Not A Member' link to continue your registration. Once completed, applicants will need to submit the required documentation to our Market Manager via email or mail. Once your documents are received and your application is approved, a hosting decision will be emailed - usually within 14 business days. Look below for links to a document checklist.
Applications, documents, and payments must be submitted by April 16th, 2020 for full consideration.

About the Lafayette Farmer's Market
The Lafayette Farmers Market operates Saturdays from May to October, 8am ? 12:30p, on 5th Street in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. Our market prides ourselves on offering the highest quality produce and products in our area. As such, we require at least 70% of offered produce or products- by sales or quantity - to be produced or created directly by the vendor. If a vendor sells products or produce not produced first-hand, the secondhand items must have been purchased directly from the producer and cannot exceed 30% in sales or by volume. This keeps our market supportive of local small businesses.
What Documentation Is Required?
After submitting an application, additional documentation may be required to complete your request to join our market. Below are some documents that may be required in addition to your application. Once all items are submitted, vendors will be notified of a hosting decision within 14 days.
- Certificate of Insurance - Mandatory
- Vehicle Insurance - Mandatory
- Retail Merchant Certification ? If selling taxable items
- Health Department Permit ? If selling non-produce food items
- Concessions must be produced in a commercial kitchen or commissary.
- Secondhand Sales Disclosure - If selling items not produced by your business.
Vendor spaces are priced according to attendance at the market. Season vendors are required to attend more than 75% of all market days, while Daily vendors can drop in any time a space is available.
Season Vendor: $325 / Space (Max 2 Spaces)
Anchor Space: $75 (Max 1 Space, Open To Season Vendors)
Daily Vendor: $30
