Health Fair Hosted by Franciscan Healthy Living Center

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Franciscan Health will host a free health fair, The Wealth of Health from Head to Toe, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Franciscan Healthy Living Center, located on the lower level of the Lafayette Heart Institute at 1116 N. Hartford Street, Lafayette. - The event will provide knowledge of available tools in the community and provide education for people to better manage their health. The event will also help identify risk factors and knowledge deficits for those with chronic illnesses including, diabetes, heart failure, COPD and asthma. - Free health screenings will be available for BMI, blood pressure, diabetes risk assessment and more. - Medical professionals will be available throughout the day to meet individually for questions and discussions. Additionally, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be an Ask the Expert session where medical professionals will discuss various healthcare topics every twenty minutes. - Registration is encouraged and can be made by calling (765) 428-5850 or visit FranciscanHealth.org. Parking is available in a parking lot across from the entrance with handicap parking also available outside the building.
